(BLOOMINGTON) - A 23-year-old man was hospitalized after police found him lying in a pool of blood in the parking lot of an apartment complex in the 1900 block of East Hillside Drive early Saturday morning.
According to Bloomington Capt. Joe Qualters, the man suffered severe facial fractures and was taken by ambulance to IU Health Hospital for treatment.
Police were called to the parking lot at 1:20 a.m. after a report of a fight in the 1700 block of East Hillside Drive and found the man down the road at the apartment complex.
Qualters says the man was not robbed and he was too severely injured to talk to police.
