(OOLITIC) - Hydrant flushing will begin in Oolitic on Tuesday and is expected to take three days.
Jessica Staggs, Oolitic clerk-treasurer, says crews will begin working south of Lafayette Avenue and will move north before completing the work at the Rolling Hills Subdivision.
Residents may notice periods when the water is discolored, and are cautioned against doing laundry during those times because of the potential for stains. If water appears muddy, residents can run the cold water until it clears.
