(SPRINGVILLE) - It’s that time again, when thousands of motorcycles will descend on Lawrence County for the 35th ABATE Boogie slated for Thursday - Sunday at the Lawrence County Recreational Park in Springville.
The popular festival draws motorcycle enthusiasts from across the U.S.
Gates open Thursday at 8 a.m.
The event will feature legendary musicians Night Ranger, Jasmine Cain and Forever Floyd, a Pink Floyd tribute band on Friday night. Duke Tumatoe will entertain the crowd before Trick Pony headlines Saturday night.
The event will also feature arm wrestling and tattoo contests, a motorcycle rodeo, bike show, numerous vendors, scenic bike rides and a chance to win a new Harley Davidson motorcycle.
Admission is $40 per person (you must be a member of a recognized state motorcyclists rights organization, and show proof, to attend). Admission includes primitive camping, motorcycle parking, and entry to all events. VISA and MasterCard accepted. No checks.
Parking: cars and trucks $10; trailers $5; campers and buses $75; tent camping, motorcycle parking, and shower facilities included with admission.
ABATE of Indiana membership available at the gate: $35 single, $55 couple.
No one under 18 allowed and everyone must show identification to enter.
