(BEDFORD) - A Bedford woman was arrested Saturday after she was caught stealing grocery items from Walmart.
Officers were called to the store at 6:10 p.m. by store security after they witnessed a woman at the self-check out counter scan some of her grocery items but not others.
According to Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley, the woman, 25-year-old Brianna Rose of Bedford, then exited the store without paying for those items.
Store security stopped Rose and asked her to come back into the store and wait for police.
Officers then arrested Rose on a charge of theft.
