(ELLETTSVILLE) - No one was injured in a morning house fire in Ellettsville that took crews a couple hours to extinguish Wednesday morning.
Firefighters from the Ellettsville and Van Buren Township departments were alerted to the blaze in the 300 block of West Tecumseh Street at 6:36 a.m.
Fire Chief Mike Cornman says that a passerby reported smoke coming from the eaves of the roof.
No one was home at the time of the fire.
According to a press release, an electrical short in the attic started the fire that caused minor damage.
