(SEYMOUR) - The Jackson County Sheriff’s Department arrested four people on drug charges Thursday.
According to police, a reserve officer was investigating a call of an abandoned vehicle in the 2600 block of North County Road 1040 East in Seymour, when he came across the four people doing drugs.
Police arrested 36-year-old Lucinda Townsend and 32-year-old Teareny Broughton, both of Seymour, for visiting a common nuisance; 34-year-old Trevor Brown of Indianapolis on possession of a syringe and visiting a common nuisance; and 23-year-old Aaron Jones of Crothersville on possession of meth, possession of a syringe and maintaining a common nuisance.
