(BLOOMINGTON) - Indiana State Troopers solved a narcotics case that resulted in taking more than 28 grams off the streets.
Troopers Riley Nungester and Allen Deel performed a traffic stop of a vehicle in the area of South Walnut Street and Winslow Road in Bloomington Tuesday. During that stop, Trooper Deel's K-9 partner, Drogo alerted the troopers to the presence of narcotics.
Troopers searched the vehicle and found more than 60 grams of crystal meth. The total amount of meth seized as a result of the investigation was more than 90 grams with a street value of more than $9,000.
The troopers also recovered more than $7,000 in cash.
John Payne and Nicole Ryan were arrested on felony charges of dealing and possession of meth and were taken to the Monroe County Jail
