(BEDFORD) - Lawrence County Abstract Inc. will be closing their doors on July 31.
Founded in 1939 by Stella Allen, the business has been located at 1011 15th Street since 1965.
The current owner, Jerene Wigley, has served the community for more than 48 years and is retiring.
Wigley learned the business from the ground up while under the employ of Attorney Robert H. Skinner. When Skinner retired, Wigley purchased the business in 1991.
