(HUNTINGBURG) - A Huntingburg was arrested and charged with attempted murder after he allegedly stabbed two men late Saturday night.
Officers were called to 624 East Fifth Street around midnight.
31-year-old Yoandy Pelaez Baslto of Huntingburg was arrested after allegedly stabbing 38-year-old Ruben Soto and 28-year-old Jose Perea, both of Huntingburg,
Police say Basolto broke in and demanded that two men give him money. Police say he then broke a bottle cut the two men on their arms and one had a large cut on his neck.
Both men were taken to Jasper Memorial Hospital for treatment of their injuries. They were released Sunday.
Police say Basolto was found a short time later when they were called to an accident on 2nd Street.
Pelaez Basulto was treated for injuries at Jasper Memorial and then taken to the Dubois County Security Center.
