(UNDATED) - The 215-2016 school year is fast approaching and registration is beginning at several school systems.
Mitchell schools will begin online registration for returning students Monday at www.mitchell.k12.in.us.
Registration at the schools will begin Thursday, July 30 beginning at noon till 7 p.m. and on Friday, July 31 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Those enrolling in Mitchell schools for the first time are encouraged to call and arrange an appointment with the school office or counselor on or after July 28. New students must report to the school to initiate the enrollment process before proceeding with online registration.
All required state immunization requirements must be met before enrolling in school. Representatives of the Lawrence County Health Department will be present at Mitchell Junior High School on July 30 to provide students with needed immunizations.

The supply lists for elementary and junior high school students is available online. To review the list, visit www.mitchell.k12.in.us and then click on the school your student is attending.
Shoals
Students in Shoals Community Schools can begin registering on Tuesday, July 14th from 8:30 a.m. till 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. till 8 p.m. at individual school. To see a complete list of details visit shoals.k12.in.us
