Jackson Co.,-In the afternoon of yesterday’s date, Indiana State Police officers arrested a Seymour man at his residence for Possession of Child Pornography and Child Exploitation.
An Investigation that began on March 5th of this year by Indiana State Police Trooper Matt Simmons of the Internet Crimes Against Children Task force, yielded information that directed him to obtain a search warrant for the residence of Kody T. Kamman, 26, of 607 W. 2nd Street, Seymour, IN.Troopers from the Versailles Post of the Indiana State Police along with other members of the ISP ICAC Task force,and ISP Cyber Crime Units executed a search warrant at the above mentioned residence early in the afternoon on July 1st and allegedly found files of child pornography recovered from digital media located at the residence. Evidence was also found to indicate that files of alleged child pornography had been shared from computers recovered at the residence.Kamman was taken into custody and arrested for Possession of Child Pornography, Level 6 Felony, and Child Exploitation, Level 5 Felony.Kamman was incarcerated at the Jackson County Jail without bond. This investigation is continuing.
