(JASPER) - Three Walmart employees were arrested Friday for allegedly stealing items from the store over several months.
Jasper Police arrested 41-year old Gabriela Luna, 36-year old Anna Newton of Paoli and 42-year old Laura Harker of Shoals. All three are charged with misdemeanor counts of theft.
According to police, the three women worked in the store's deli department and were arrested for stealing clothing, aspirin and deli items.
Police say Newton is accused of stealing meat from the deli totaling around $54. Newton told police that she paid for the meat. However, she didn't pay the full price; she only paid $3.58 for the meat because she allegedly generated a price tag that didn't reflect the actual weight of the meat.
