(BEDFORD) - Two people were injured in a collision at the intersection of L Street and U.S. 50 East Tuesday morning.
According to a Bedford Police report, 51-year-old Pamela Osborn of Bedford was traveling north on L Street when she failed to stop for a red light at the intersection of U.S. 50 and pulled her 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix into the path of a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado driven by 43-year-old Michael Baldwin of Bedford, who was traveling west on U.S. 50 East.
Osborn's Grand Prix struck the front left side of Baldwin's vehicle, causing Osborn's car to spin.
The right rear of Osborn's vehicle then struck the Baldwin's vehicle just behind the cab of the Silverado on the driver's side.
Bedford Fire Department firefighters had to free Osborn from the wreckage.
Osborn complained of back pain. Baldwin suffered chest pain. Both were taken by ambulance to local hospitals for treatment.
Osborn was cited for disregarding the stoplight.
