(BROWNSTOWN) - Unlocked vehicles, garages and homes made easy targets in a string of burglaries in Brownstown.
The thefts, which involved more than nine vehicles and two homes and garages, occurred early Tuesday in the Lucas-Ackerman housing addition on the southeast side of town.
Two vehicles were stolen late Monday or early Tuesday in Brownstown, and a third vehicle, was taken from the Reddington area north of Seymour, but was recovered in Brownstown.
Sgt. John Long says police have not developed any suspects in the incidents, and he urged residents to lock their doors and vehicles.
Anyone with information about the crimes is asked to call the Brownstown Police Department or the Jackson County Sheriff's Department.
