(BLOOMINGTON) - The Walk to End Alzheimer’s event will be taking place once again this year in Bloomington.
This year, in order to raise funds for the walk, the first annual Rally to Remember is being held. The rally is a motorcycle ride that is on Sunday, July 12. Registration begins at 11 am and the ride begins at noon, rain or shine. The ride will begin at Harley Davidson in Bloomington; 522 W. Gourley Pike, Bloomington. The cost is $20 per bike, and all entries will be donated to the Alzheimer's Association. Riders are asked to wear purple to show your support of Alzheimer's awareness.
As for the Walk, it will be held on September 13 at the Bryan Park Woodlawn shelter in Bloomington. The address is 1000 S Woodlawn Ave. Registration for the event begins at noon, with the ceremony beginning at 1:00, and the walk starting at 1:30. The walk will be one mile long and will have three different routes.
