(BEDFORD) - A Bedford woman was arrested Monday afternoon after she had escaped home detention.
According to Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley, officers received a tip that 25-year-old Morgan Lambert of Bedford was at a home in the 900 block of Peerless Road.
Lambert is accused of cutting off her electronic monitoring ankle bracelet and then fleeing from her home after being sentenced to home detention in Clark County.
She was found at the home on Peerless Road and arrested on a charge of escape. While being placed in handcuffs, police discovered she had a baggie of a substance that tested positive for meth.
She is now facing an additional charge of possession of meth.
