(RAGLESVILLE) - Madison Township firefighters’ quick response on Wednesday morning might have saved several structures from destruction on an Amish farm just north of Raglesville.
Firefighter says a quick response, good equipment and well-trained personnel were responsible for saving buildings close to the burning cattle barn on the Art S. Wagler farm.
Firefighters say children playing with fire caused the blaze.
Odon firefighters, ambulance personnel and several neighbors joined Madison Township volunteers in fighting the blaze on the farm, which featured several nearby buildings.
Neighbors and friends were already beginning to tear down what was left of the barn, as firefighters gathered their gear. The owner works fro Joe Graber Construction.
