(WILLIAMS) - Lawrence County Deputy Coroner John Sherrill says 15-year-old Graden McFarlan drowned.
An autopsy was performed Monday in Bedford.
McFarlan's death is being investigated by the Indiana Department of Natural Resources law enforcement division.
Shortly before 11 a.m. Saturday, a fisherman discovered the body in the White River in Williams and contacted the Lawrence County Sheriff's Department.
Deputies and Indiana Conservation officers responded to the scene and pulled McFarlan's body out of the water a short time later from the White River Slough near State Road 450.
Authorities are expected to conclude more about what exactly happened after the cause of death was established.
Funeral services for McFarlan will be Wednesday at Ferguson Lee Funeral Home with visitation from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. with the funeral following.
