(MITCHELL) - Entry forms for the Persimmon Festival queen contest are now available.
Only the first 20 entries will be accepted.
Contestants must be high school students in Lawrence County.
A business sponsor fee of $30 and a photo should be included with the completed form.
The preliminary contest will be held September 19, and the queen will be crowned on September 21.
Forms can be picked up at the Mitchell Chamber of Commerce at 1494 W. Main St., or Mitchell High School office.
Contestants may drop off or mail completed forms to the Greater Mitchell Chamber office or mail them to Mitchell Chamber, P.O. Box 216, Mitchell, IN 47446.
