(BEDFORD) - A Norman man was sentenced to 3 years in prison after the pled guilty in a plea agreement to dealing heroin, a Level 5 felony.
In accordance to the plea agreement, Lawrence County Superior Court I Judge Michael Robbins sentenced Ryan Dodds to three years, with two years to be served on house arrest and one year on supervised probation. Dodds received credit for 183 days time served and was ordered to participate in ADAPT.
Dodds was arrested on February 10th when Bedford Police received a tip about a man in a GMC Sonoma pickup involved in a drug deal. Dodds was driving the truck when it was pulled over on U.S. 50 East at Woody Farms Road.
According to a Bedford Police report, officers found several packages of heroin ready to sell, prescription medication and drug paraphernalia.
