(BEDFORD) - A Springville woman was arrested after she allegedly attacked another woman at a home in the 2200 block of 29th Street Saturday.
According to Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley, officers were called to the home at 2:09 a.m. after a report that 37-year-old Katherine Kinser had attacked her.
A woman and Kinser's son, who were at the home, told police that they had received a phone call from Kinser earlier, but she was yelling so much they couldn't understand what she was upset about.
Kinser's son then asked police to check on the welfare of his mother, but before officers could do that Katherine Kinser showed up at her son's home.
The woman told police that Katherine Kinser was on the porch of the home screaming and ringing the doorbell.
When the woman went to answer the door, Katherine Kinser allegedly charged the woman, then grabbed her and began swinging and slapping at her.
Katherine Kinser then left and the woman called police again.
When officers arrived they found Katherine Kinser in front of the house screaming.
She was arrested after the woman signed a battery affidavit against Kinser.
