(BROWNTOWN) - A Vallonia man accused of selling methamphetamine to an undercover agent four times in the fall of 2013 will spend the next 20 years in prison.
The Seymour Tribune reports that's the sentence 35-year-old Charles A. Root recently received from Jackson Circuit Judge Richard W. Poynter after Root pleaded guilty to a Class A felony of dealing meth.
Root was arrested in January 2014 on four counts of dealing in meth. Those charges stemmed from an investigation conducted in late 2013 by Detective Benjamin R. Rudolph with the Jackson County Sheriff's Department.
