(MITCHELL) - A Bedford teen was injured after her vehicle rolled several times on Tolliver Cemetery Road.
According to a Lawrence County Police report, 17-year-old Kaitlin Hammond was traveling east on Tolliver Cemetery Road and was reaching in the back seat to get something when the vehicle went off the south side of the road. Hammond then over-corrected causing the 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee to flip several times.
The vehicle then struck a CSX utility pole near the railroad tracks, breaking the pole in half. The vehicle then stopped against part of the broken pole. Hammond and a passenger, who was not named in the report, were able to get out of the vehicle.
Hammond complained of head, neck and back pain and was taken by ambulance to St. Vincent Dunn Hospital. Her male passenger, who was not named in the accident report, refused treatment.
Marion and Huron Volunteer Fire Departments assisted at the scene.
