(BEDFORD) - A Bedford man was arrested after he asked an employee at Hardee’s to call police.
Officers found 52-year-old Daniel Greenberg staggering in the parking lot.
When asked for identification Greenberg told police he had been mugged in Indianapolis and they must have taken his wallet. Greenberg then told police he wasn't feeling well.
Officers saw no visible signs that Greenberg had been injured, but offered to take him to the hospital. As part of standard procedures police patted Greenberg down and found that he had a container in his pocket that contained marijuana.
Greenberg told police that he had forgot he had the marijuana in his pocket. Greenberg was arrested on charges of public intoxication and possession of marijuana.
