(BROWNSTOWN) - A Brownstown Central High School student was arrested this morning after police say he brought a gun to school.
The Seymour Tribune reports that officers quickly arrived at the school after a 911 call.
The student, whose name has not been released, was arrested.
"At no time were any other students or staff in danger," says Principal Joe Sheffer.
"The police have done a complete walkthrough of the building and will be present on campus the remainder of the school day," Sheffer added. "The school is safe and secure, and school activities will proceed as normal."
