(CORYDON) - The Indiana Department of Transportation will host a job fair Wednesday, September 30 at INDOT’s Corydon facility located at 3180 Harrison Way.
Applicants interested in seasonal work as a plow truck driver should bring their CDL license, resume and high school diploma (or equivalent) to the interview between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.
Candidates will be asked to create a state employment profile at Wednesday's job fair. Alternatively, they can create the state employment profile in advance at www.in.gov/spd. A drug test will be administered.
Those hired can choose full-time work, for 37.5 hours per week, November through March as a snow plow driver. Related duties may include highway maintenance functions. Others can choose on-call status for patrolling and plowing area highways and I-64 during snow and ice events.
