(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington Police are searching for a man who allegedly attempted to rob an Indiana University student Sunday morning.
According to police, officers were called to the 400 block of North Fess Avenue just after 4 a.m. after the student reported a tall, heavy-set male approached him, armed with a silver-and-black handgun and then ordered him to hand over all his possessions.
The student had no items of value so the man fled.
Police say the student was not harmed in the incident.
Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call Bloomington Police.
