(BLOOMINGTON) - A man was arrested on drug charges after he attempted to solicit a female stranger for sex on Friday in Bloomington.
Bloomington Police arrested 53-year-old David Mays was arrested on charges of indecent exposure, possession of synthetic marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
At approximately 4:35 p.m. Sunday, police received a call of a suspicious person in the area of the 100 block of East Second Street. When police arrived they found Mays in a parking lot with his pants undone, holding a metal smoking device and a bag of a substance that tested positive for Spice.
Police say Mays admitted to approaching the woman wanting sex and to smoking Spice.
He was arrested and taken to the Monroe County Jail where he is being held on a $500 cash bond.
