(BEDFORD) - A Bedford man was injured after a dog ran into the path of his motorcycle Monday morning.
According to a Bedford Police report, 64-year-old William Davis suffered injuries to his head and arm.
Police say Davis was traveling south at the intersection of Oolitic Road and Rawlins A Street when a dog ran in front of his motorcycle. Davis was unable to avoid hitting the dog and was thrown from the motorcycle, landing on the pavement.
The dog's owner, 25-year-old Stephanie Faith Acton, was cited for allowing her dog to running loose.
