(BEDFORD) - Indiana’s newest national scenic byway will be showcased on the second annual road rally for motorcycles on Saturday, September 12.
The all day tour of southern Indiana's byway will begin at 10 am at the Hoosier National Forest's office in Bedford.
Organizers hope to finish the ride and be back in Bedford by 4 p.m.
Stops will highlight a variety of natural features and historical sites with stops along the way to look at a covered bridge, a lookout tower, the Orangeville Rise, Jug Rock, and more.
Registration starts at 9 a.m. on September 12th, with kickstands up at 10 a.m. The cost is $10 per bike with $5 for a passenger.
Proceeds will go to Indiana's Historic Pathways to fund publishing a history activity book for children.
Co-sponsors of the ride include Indiana's Historic Pathways, Historic Southern Indiana and the US Forest Service.
