(BEDFORD) - A Springville man was arrested after police responded to a call of two suspicious men looking into parked cars at Stalker Apartments Tuesday night.
When police arrived they found the two men and stopped to speak to them.
One of the men, 25-year-old Charles Pursell of Springville refused to step forward and speak to police.
"The officers asked him again to step forward so they could speak to him and he refused," Parsley says. "They then asked a third time and that is when he took off running."
Officers caught Pursell. He told police he ran because he was wanted on two warrants.
Pursell was arrested on warrants of failure to appear and petition to revoke probation. He is now facing a new charges of resisting arrest by fleeing.
