(WASHINGTON CO.) - Two Washington County men have been arrested on allegations of child molesting.
According to Indiana Police, detectives were contacted by the Washington County Department of Child Services in February about an allegation of child molestation that occurred in Washington County.
ISP Detective Rachel Abbott began investigating the allegations which lead to the arrest of 36-year-old Derek Medlock of Hardinsburg and 30-year-old Matthew Mattingly of Campbellsburg.
Police say both men are accused of molesting the same child in the Campbellsburg area.
Both men are facing a Level 4 felony of child molesting.
Mattingly was arrested on a warrant Monday. Medlock was served the warrant at the Washington County Jail were he is currently being held on an unrelated charge.
