(UNDATED) - Lawrence County Clerk Myron Rainey would like to remind voters that October 5th is the last day to register to vote for the Municipal Election, to be held on November 3rd, 2015.
Registration applications may be submitted to the Voter Registration Office by 4:30 on October 5th.
Voters can also register online until 11:59 p.m. or check their current registration status or polling place by visiting www.IndianaVoters.com.
Rainey strongly urges Hoosier voters to confirm that their voter registration information is accurate and up-to-date, to ensure that their voice will be heard on Election Day.

A public test of election equipment will be held on Monday September 28 at 2pm.
Rainey and the Election Board have scheduled hours for casting absentee ballots in person at the Voter Registration Office in Room 11 of the Lawrence County Courthouse.
The North side entrance to the Courthouse is open to the public.
Voters must present a government-issued photo ID before a ballot will be issued. A driver's license, state ID or federal ID can be Early voting hours were further shortened as a money saving measure.
Voters will still have ample time and opportunity to vote early. If necessary, voters may request an absentee ballot to vote by mail.

Weekday hours: 8:30am - noon / closed for lunch / 1 pm - 4:30pm
Saturday hours: October 24th & 31st, 8:30am - noon
Monday November 2nd, 8:30am - noon
Lunch times may vary depending on lines leading up to the break.
