(BEDFORD) - A Bedford woman complained of back pain after she was involved in a two-vehicle accident on 17th Street Thursday afternoon.
According to a Bedford Police report, 67-year-old Nancy Wilder of Orleans was traveling north on I Street and had stopped at the stop sign, looked both ways and thought the way was cleared when she drove her 1994 Nissan pickup truck through the intersection to proceed north across 17th Street.
Wilder told police that while she was in the intersection a 2005 Chevrolet Cavalier, driven by 63-year-old Renee Majors of Bedford, popped over the hill at a high-rate of speed and struck Wilder's pickup truck.
Police say Majors was traveling east on 17th Street and had the right of way.
Wilder was not injured. Majors complained of back pain following the incident.
