(BEDFORD) - A Bedford woman was injured after a two-vehicle collision on 16th Street, near H Street, Monday morning.
According to a Bedford Police report, 66-year-old Sherry Umphress was traveling east on 16th Street and was traveling through a green light at the intersection of H Street when her 2010 Chevrolet Traverse was struck from the north by a 1995 Pontiac Grand Am driven by 19-year-old Kyle Ketcham of Columbus.
Umphress told police that Ketcham had pulled out of the gas station at 16th and H streets and turned north (the wrong way) and as he went through the intersection on H and 16th streets striking Umphress' vehicle and then a street sign.
Ketcham was cited for driving the wrong way on a one-way street.
Umphress complained of head pain. Ketcham was not injured.
