Bloomington North Student Brings BB Gun To School

(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington Police were called to Bloomington High School North after a report that a student had a BB gun in his backpack.

According to police, officers were called to the school in the 3900 block North Kinser Pike, just before 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.

School administrators had confiscated the Daisy BB gun before police arrived.

The student told police he had forgot the BB gun was in his backpack.

No criminal charges were filed and school officials will handle the incident.
