(MITCHELL) - Four people were injured in a two-vehicle collision Wednesday afternoon on State Road 37 and Hancock Avenue.
According to a Mitchell Police report, 77-year-old Peggy A. Wood, of Mitchell, was traveling south on Ind. 37 in a 1998 Ford Ranger and was attempting to making a right hand turn onto Hancock Avenue.
At the same time, 53-year-old Ronald L. Holt, of Carmel, was driving his 1999 Mercury Nautica Villager north on State Road 37 approaching Hancock Avenue.
According to police Wood turned into the path of Holt's minivan.
Wood suffered bleeding to her face, and Holt suffered bleeding to his entire body, which the report listed as incapacitating injuries.
Wood's passenger 78-year-old James Wood, also of Mitchell, complained of chest pain and was also incapacitated.
Holt's passenger 31-year-old Jennifer R. Wininger, of French Lick, complained of pain to her lower legs and was also incapacitated.
Police say all four were wearing seatbelts.
