(BEDFORD) - Mayor Shawna Girgis was re-elected to a third term in Tuesday’s municipal election.
Girgis, an independent, defeated Republican Brad Bough. Girgis claimed 66.12 percent of the votes taking 1,483, Bough took 760 votes.
Meanwhile, veteran Bedford City Council Member Patrick Robbins was re-elected for a fourth term defeating Bill Raines.
Robbins claimed 60.78 percent of the votes at 296 with Raines receiving 191 votes.
