(SEYMOUR) - The Indiana Department of Transportation will close Interstate 65 left lanes in both directions between mile markers 44.5 and 46.5 south of Seymour Wednesday night, weather permitting.
Northbound and southbound inside lanes on I-65 will be restricted between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. Contracted crews have been scheduled to grade and seed median areas of the north-south interstate. In case of rain, these operations will be pushed back to Thursday night.
I-65 right lanes will remain open in both directions. Lane widths will be restricted to 11 feet.
Wednesday's work is part of INDOT's $54.7 million project between State Road 56 in Scott County and U.S. 50 in Jackson County that has rehabilitated 21 miles of pavement and refurbished 20 bridges.
