(CROTHERSVILLE) - A couple linked to a burglary Wednesday in the Freetown area were arrested later in the day near Crothersville.
Jackson County Police arrested 33-year-old Adam Gebhart and his wife, 24-year-old Erica Gebhart, both of Seymour, on charges of burglary after they allegedly stole tools and other items from a garage in the 33600 block of West County Road 650 north in Freetown.
The theft was discovered by the property owner at 2:22 p.m. Wednesday. According to police the couple stole a leaf blower, weedeater, pellet gun, drills and other tools.
The couple was arrested after Crothersville police stop a 1999 Chevrolet Lumina the couple were in and located the stolen items in the vehicle. The items were returned to the owner.
Adam Gebhart was also wanted on a writ of attachment at the time of this arrest.
Both are being held without bond in the Jackson County Jail in Brownstown.
