(BEDFORD) - A Bedford man was arrested after he left the scene of an accident at Walmart on Sunday.
According to a Bedford Police report, officers were called to Walmart at 5 p.m. after a report of an accident with one of the vehicle's leaving the scene. Officers were given a description of the vehicle and a direction of travel. Officers located the vehicle and stopped the driver, 24-year-old Jordan Harris of Bedford.
44-year-old Holly Kristan of Bedford told police that she was traveling east in front of the store when Harris, who was traveling west, approached her 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe. As he passed her, she heard metal scrapping metal. Kristan turned around in the lot and looked for Harris' 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier but he had left the scene.
Police arrested Harris on charges of leaving the scene of an accident, operating a vehicle while intoxicated, OWI child endangerment, possession of a scheduled IV controlled substance, OWI felony, OWI with a blood-alcohol content of 0.08 percent or higher.
