(BEDFORD) - The Bedford Public Library will once again host Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) at no charge to people who make $54,000 or less, persons with disabilities, the elderly, and those who speak limited English.
The volunteers are certified with the Internal Revenue Service and provide free basic income tax return preparation with electronic filing to qualified individuals.
This free tax preparation is done by appointment only. Though appointments begin in February and run through April 9, they may be made now. To make an appointment, visit the library at 1323 K St. or call (812) 275-4471.
