Downtown Bedford Will Be Bustling With Holiday Activity Saturday

(BEDFORD) - Downtown Bedford will be bustling with activity Saturday to ring in the holiday season.
Caroling from the Bedford Beats will begin at 3 p.m. and go until 6 p.m. Find them all around the Square, sharing in Christmas Cheer and you can join in the event.
DJ Rick St. Nick with Super Oldies 105.5 WQRK will be broadcasting from around the square and visiting with residents from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m.
Take a Holiday ride in a horse drawn carriage from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. The free event is sponsored by German American Bank.
Festival of Lights "Windows of Wonder" Contest Kick-off after dark. The Festival of Lights "It's a Wonderful Life" Christmas Parade steps off at 6 p.m. There are more than 130 parade units in this year's parade.
Lincoln Elementary School PTO is hosting their first Christmas Bazaar Saturday. The event will be held from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m.
PTO President Robin McFarland says students have been working hard to create crafts to sell at the event. There will also be more than 50 other vendors including 31, Mary Kay, Jamberry, Pampered Chef, Mary and Martha, Doterra Oils, Norwex, Tupperware and more. There will also be breakfast and lunch served along with Orange Leaf frozen yogurt.
The Downtown Merchants Around the Square are awarding holiday shoppers with a chance to win $100 in cash and a special gift basket.
Shoppers can find out more by visiting different merchants in downtown Bedford.
Merchants will be offering special deals, refreshments, and chances to win prizes.
To participate in the Shopper's Delight Cash Drawing visit local merchants from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. For every $5 you spend you will earn a ticket to win $100. The winner will be drawn at 5:30 p.m. You do not have to be present to win.
Beginning at 3 p.m. take your photo with the Elf who will be visiting downtown merchants and that photo might earn you a basket loaded with hundreds of dollars worth of goodies from merchants around the square. The rules are simple take a selfie with the Elf and post it to Facebook using #ElfieSelfie to enter the contest! If you don't have a Facebook account, the Downtown Merchants can post the selfie for you. The image must be posted to Facebook to win.There is no limit to selfies you can take with the Elf, but it must be at a different business.
The Elf will meet you at Wildflower Antiques at 3 p.m. before heading to other businesses around the square.
The winning selfie will be drawn at 5:30 p.m.
