Fire Hydrant Flushing Continues In Bedford

(BEDFORD) - The following is a tentative schedule for the flushing of fire hydrants for the City of Bedford. It is subject to change if each night is not completed as scheduled or due to weather conditions.

Customers are cautioned to be careful on or about these days as the water can be muddy/rusty and will be harmful to laundry as far as staining. If the water becomes discolored in your area, let the cold faucets run for a short while and it should clear up.

Sunday Night December 6th

Everything South of 19th St and West of Mitchell Rd including Broadview Addition, Fresenius Medical Care, St. Vincent Dunn Hospital, Garden Villa, Bliss House and Stonebridge

Monday Night December 7th

16th St West of M St, Edgewood Addition, IU Health Bedford, Bex Addition, and Westview Manor

Tuesday Night December 8th

East of Mitchell Rd/South of 16th St. Brook Knoll, Glen Meadows, Shandell Dr and Core Nursing Home

Wednesday Night December 9th

John Williams Blvd, All of Lincoln Ave, 15th & M West, 8th St. South to 16th St.

Thursday Night December 10th

East of Lincoln Ave and North of 15th St.

Remember if weather turns bad, this will be cancelled.
