(BLOOMFIELD) - Greene County Voter Registration Clerk Marjorie Cullison was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award by the Indiana Election Division last week.
This award is given to the individual whose outstanding career embodies leadership, strength and determination, coupled with friendliness and service to others.
Prior to the ceremony, each of the clerks from all of Indiana's 92 counties are asked to submit nominations for a person who fits the above criterion.
Greene County Clerk Susan Fowler chose Cullison as being the person most deserving of the award, which was presented at a private luncheon ceremony.
"It was a surprise. I feel very honored and humbled. It is quite humbling when you peers think of you deserving of an award. I am very touched," Cullison said.
