(MITCHELL) - A Mitchell man who had escaped from the Henryville Correctional Facility on Friday was found hiding under a bed at a mobile home in Ellettsville early Sunday morning.
According to a press release, 21-year-old Rodney L. Miller escaped from the prison Friday night and then left on foot. He was convicted of fraud, theft and receiving stolen property in Lawrence County and was scheduled to be released from prison on May 3.
Members of the U.S. Marshals Service, Ellettsville Police Department and Monroe County Sheriff's Office found Miller and his 18-year-old girlfriend Hannah Nicole Collins, of Bedford at Lenzy Hayes Trailer Court in the 5600 block of West Ind. 46 around 12:30 a.m.
Collins was also arrested on a felony charge of assisting a criminal. She too was taken to the Monroe County Jail and is being held on a $2,000 surety bond or $500 cash.
