(BLOOMFIELD) - Julia Bartlow, registered pharmacist (R.Ph.) of Bloomfield, announced her intention to seek the seat of State Representative District 62.
The seat is being vacated as a result of Representative Matt Ubelhor's resignation. Ubelhor announced he will vacate his seat by December 1.
The term ends November of 2016.
Bartlow filed Tuesday at the clerk's office of the Indiana State House of Representatives.
She will face Greene County Commissioner Nathan Abrams, Public Relations, Marketing and Business Development Manager for Greene County General Hospital Amy Lore and former Monroe County Councilman and Monroe County Recorder Jeff Ellington in the Republican caucus.
