The good weather also made the Santa's House event at Otis as success.
Recreation Director Gary Dorsett reported more than 1,200 people come out and visited with Santa and Mrs. Claus.

The nice weather has also allowed crews to down and remove several trees in front of Pine Hall at Otis and to complete a cleanup project at Murray Forest Park.
The annual Father/Daughter Dance has been set for Feb. 5 at First Baptist Church.
