(SALEM) - A Salem woman was arrested after police say she battered two of her children.
According to Indiana State Trooper Brett Walters from the Indiana State Police Post at Sellersburg, Salem Police Department received a complaint that 24-year-old Kendra Beswick allegedly had injured her children.
Trooper Walters spoke to the children's father. The father told police he felt two of his children were being abused by Beswick.
He told police he had filmed an incident with a hidden camera and posted it on Facebook. Trooper Walters watched the video and began an investigation into the alleged crime.
Upon completion of the investigation, the case was turned over to the Washington County Prosecutor's Office for review.
On Wednesday, a warrant was issued for the arrest of Beswick charging her with two Level 5 felony counts of battery on a child under the age of fourteen.
Beswick was arrested the same day and taken to jail.
The case remains under investigation.
Assisting agencies are the Washington County Division of Family and Children and the Salem City Police Department.
