(SEYMOUR) - A 20-year-old man linked to reports of a motorist using red and blue flashing lights resembling those on a police car was arrested for impersonating a police officer Friday night in Seymour.
Jackson County Police arrested Caleb C. Schryer of Seymour.
His arrest occurred in a parking lot at Seymour High School where several witnesses told police Schryer had on a multi-color LED light system inside the housing of the headlights of his truck. Police say Schryer could activate the red and blue flashing lights using an app on his cellphone.
One of those witnesses was Charlie Murphy, an off-duty Jackson County reserve officer.
